The Dell is a hidden gem in the heart of Hitchin, but it hasn’t been used regularly as an open-air theatre since 1999. Over the years, the area has become overgrown and would need a lot of work to bring it back to life. At Action Hitchin, we’re determined to restore this unique space and turn it into a working theatre once again – a place where people can enjoy live performances, outdoor events, and community gatherings.
